Fine Solutions’ health and hygiene programs reach enrollment of nearly 500 healthcare institutions

Fine Hygienic Holding

Fine Solutions, the away-from-home division of Fine Hygienic Holding – the world’s leading wellness group and the region’s largest paper tissue manufacturer, announced the enrollment of nearly 500 healthcare institutions across the UAE, KSA, Jordan and Egypt in its Medical Wellness Aspire Program and Hygiene Affiliate Programs since 2019. The programs are designed to recognize and showcase medical institutions in the region – specifically hospitals and medical clinics – that adhere to the highest level of hygiene standards. Once enrolled, medical facilities undergo a thorough evaluation conducted by Fine Hygiene Experts who then recommend and install world class Fine hygiene solutions and sterilized products, such as sterilized facial tissues and hand towels. After meeting all requirements and hygiene standards, healthcare institutions receive official accreditation and approval from the Medical Wellness Association (MWA), a globally recognized collection of the finest doctors and wellness professionals with the express purpose to promote proven global hygiene practices. FHH’s CEO, James Michael Lafferty said, “As a Wellness company, Fine is dedicated to the overall elevation and protection of public health and safety across all our communities. We are both proud and honored to serve as the preferred Wellness brand trusted by hundreds of medical institutions to provide them with the essential products and services needed to ensure operation at the highest level of hygienic standards.” Lafferty went on to say that the benefits of the healthcare programs are threefold: first, helping institutions focus on the fine details to better protect their patients and improve infection prevention controls. Secondly, the programs clearly differentiate outstanding healthcare entities through prestigious accreditation given by the MWA. Finally, through the recognition of the programs, patients are able to easily identify facilities going the extra mile in terms of hygiene and protection, giving them the assurance and peace of mind. Leading medical institutions such as Zulekha Hospital, Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital, Dubai London Clinic and Speciality Hospital have taken part in the programs to build a positive public perception as well as increase overall awareness and exposure. Enrolled healthcare institutions receive either official door stickers or accreditation certificates. Additionally, and bolstered by the use of Fine sterilized tissues and paper towels, the programs help to resolve the growing fear of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, promoting a cleaner and more controlled environment. Dr. Christopher Breuleux, MWA President stated, “At the MWA, we aim to partner and collaborate with quality providers and organizations to provide expertise services in professional leadership and education for medical and wellness industries. We are extremely proud to collaborate with Fine Solutions on these unprecedented programs, which are not only raising the standards on health and hygiene practices in medical facilities, but also spreading the key knowledge and awareness consumers need to make sound, informed choices in regard to medical care.” About Fine Hygienic Holding: Fine Hygienic Holding (FHH), the world’s leading wellness group and MENA’s leading manufacturer of hygienic products, serves consumers in more than 80 countries around the world. Say 'Cheers!' to Dry January: Athletic Brewing Company offers a 'Dry January" without Compromise

YourUpdateTV

A video accompanying this announcement is available at: https://youtu.be/Q9AdRSlIG-M Dry January — kicking off the new year by cutting out alcohol for an entire month — is a health trend more people are trying each year. The 12-months of 2020 have been 365 days to forget. While 2021 couldn’t have arrived soon enough, flipping the calendar often means renewing an annual commitment to pursuing a healthy and active lifestyle. For some, this means beginning the New Year with a Dry January and for others, it means elevating their inner athlete to a new level. Regardless of the motive, January is viewed as the month of giving things up – going on diets, cutting back on socializing, and reducing or eliminating alcoholic beverages. Too often Dry January is viewed as full of compromise and for many hard to sustain. Athletic Brewing Company, America’s first brewery dedicated solely to brewing nonalcoholic beers, is changing that thinking with “athletic” beers that are great tasting, low in calories, all-natural, refreshing, and just happen to be nonalcoholic. During a nationwide media tour in conjunction with D S Simon Media and YourUpdate TV, Bill Shufelt Fast Company’s “Most Innovative Company’s” Honoree, 2020 and Co-Founder, Athletic Brewing Company discussed: What “Dry January” is and why it has become such a large trend What’s behind the surge in popularity of the nonalcoholic beer market in the U.S. Ways someone can enjoy a “Dry January” without drinking alcohol What the backstory is of Athletic Brewing Company and why Fast Company named them a “Most Innovative Company” honoree “Athletic Brewing is focused on reminding beer lovers that being dry doesn’t have to be about giving something up and doesn’t have to end in January. It’s about living life to the fullest and above all, living without compromise to the best of your ability each and every day of the year,” said Athletic Brewing Co-founder Bill Shufelt About YourUpdateTV: YourUpdateTV is a social media video portal for organizations to share their content. Taking Control of Health and Wellness in 2021

YourUpdateTV

After a long 2020, we’re all looking forward to a fresh start. While every New Year brings new goals and wishes, 2021 might look a little different. Recently, Wellness and Lifestyle Contributor, Terra Wellington, teamed with YourUpdateTV on a satellite media tour to share her tips to starting the year right. A video accompanying this announcement is available at: https://youtu.be/xKL_rNQYbYM Support Your Immune System One of the top goals people are carrying into the New Year is how to naturally support their immune system every day. For vitamins and supplements, you can look to Natrol. The company has a new Immune Health product line you can check out — there are three new products: Immune-Biotic, which is a delicious, orange-flavored probiotic that comes in quick-dissolve packets that you pour directly onto your tongue Elderberry Gummies — these are great-tasting gummies packed with a blend of elderberry fruit extract, Vitamin C, and Zinc, and Easy-C tablets are high-potency Vitamin C tablets that can be easy on your stomach Be Fiscally Fit In 2021, many are looking to become ‘fiscally fit’ and that means looking for savings. This January, keep an eye out in your mail for the Blue Envelope of Savings from Valpak. Lucky households nationwide will be receiving a $200 no-strings-attached check in the envelopes, along with savings coupons — all to help you stay on budget while also supporting local businesses. And if you scan the QR code on the envelope, you’ll be able to stream the Disney Hits playlist through your choice of streaming services. Go Plant-Based Try to add more plant-based foods into your diet this year. Studies show that when you eat more plants it supports your health by lowering your risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes. For example, Coconut Bliss®, which is known for its plant-based ice cream treats, has a new Bliss Maker™ at-home ice cream machine to make your own organic plant-based ice cream. It’s really fun for families, has lots of tasty recipes, and uses its organic plant-based soft-serve ice cream mix. It’s also certified vegan and gluten-free with fair-trade ingredients. USDA Food Guideline Calls to “Make Every Bite Count”

Pocono Organics

The USDA’s 2020-2025 food guidelines highlight the need for Americans to eat more nutrient-dense foods to promote better health and fight the risk of chronic disease. Pocono Organics founder and president, Ashley Walsh, knows the power of using food as medicine from her personal health journey with gastroparesis which led her to starting one of the largest regenerative organic farms in North America. “I was diagnosed with gastroparesis in my late 20s,” said Walsh. “That means that my stomach is paralyzed and I can’t digest food properly. The doctors told me that they could help me by cutting out parts of my stomach, using feeding tubes, and putting me on a regimen of medications. Those weren’t options I was willing to accept. That started my journey with organic and more nutrient-dense foods. The powerful results of using food as medicine along with plant-based supplements were undeniable for me - instead of being sick five days a week, I was sick five days a month. I was also able to get off of all the medications I was taking for my health because of my stomach. “The problem was that I wasn’t able to get the nutrient-dense organic foods I needed. That’s when the vision for Pocono Organics came to life. I was thrilled to see the USDA theme because when you live with gastroparesis, every bite of food does count! And, when you consider that we rely on just four crops to provide 60% of our daily caloric intake, we have to explore and grow more nutrient-dense food options.” Pocono Organics, which opened to the public in June of 2020, spans more than 380 acres atop the iconic Pocono Mountains and grows regenerative organic produce for retailers, distributors, restaurants, and consumers. Regenerative organic agricultural practices make soil health the priority and include low-till methods and zero-use of chemicals and pesticides. Pocono Organics’ farming approach, in partnership with Rodale Institute, produces some of the cleanest and most nutrient-dense crops grown on earth – making them better for consumers – while also strengthening and healing the soil in which they are grown – which is better for our planet. “For more than 70 years, our partners at Rodale Institute have led the world in regenerative organic science and research that shows how healthy soil grows more nutrient-dense food,” Walsh continued. “Our vision, as a health and wellness organization, is to inspire people and heal the earth. The United Nations has reported that we have less than 50 farming cycles left before our soil is completely depleted of the nutrients needed to grow the food we need. So, we are not only facing issues of human health, but of soil health that will further impact humanity and the food we eat.” Pocono Organics is a Global Center for Research, Education, and Discovery, and is an agritourism destination. Visitors enjoy freshly picked ingredients and prepared meals from its café and are able to stock up with certified organic pantry items in the market. There are also regular in-person and virtual experiential series ranging from cooking masterclasses from executive chef and Food Network Chopped Champion, Lindsay McClain to wellness and food education programs for children. The Pocono Organics education team will also be offering virtual food label reading webinars to share tips on how to read package labels to know what you are really putting in your and your family’s bodies. Walsh and her team have recently launched one of the cleanest and one of the first regenerative organic grown, full-spectrum hemp extract product lines in the world. Pocono Organics’ CBD is the only line to carry the respected Rodale Institute logo on its products and packaging. Pocono Organics’ wellness products are CBD-abundant and harness the power of full-spectrum hemp extract to deliver a broader range of health-promoting cannabinoids. These wellness resources - available online and carried in retail outlets, spas, and numerous doctors’ offices across multiple states - are formulated in Pocono Organics' in-house lab to create artisanal, small-batch items including tinctures, creams, salve sticks, lip balms, and bath bombs. Pocono Organics Pocono Organics is a health and wellness organization with a mission to inspire people and heal the earth. The Global Center for Research, Education, and Discovery is one of the largest regenerative organic farms in North America. Located in Long Pond, Pennsylvania, Pocono Organics has more than 380 acres of farm land and, at full build out, will have 120,000 square feet of greenhouse. Pocono Organics has a strategic partnership with Rodale Institute, the global leaders in Regenerative Organic Agriculture practices and research and is one of their largest research satellite facilities. Awarded the 2019 Environmental Innovator of the Year by the Green Sports Alliance, sustainability is a hallmark of Pocono Organics. The farm draws power from a 3MW, 25-acre solar farm and reclaims rain water from 70,000 square feet of roofs for irrigation. Pocono Organics also serves the local community through its Clean Food, Dirty Hands school education program and veterans in transition through a Veteran Farmer Training Program. In addition, the property includes an organic farmer’s market and café, and with a 56-room adjoining hotel, is an agritourism destination, and host location for annual festivals. While virtual visits and telehealth are care options to consider, check with your doctor about what qualifies, newborn and baby well visits and immunizations should be done in a clinical setting. Your baby should go to at least eight well-child visits before they are 15 months old and preparation is key for a more comfortable appointment. Knowing what will happen at each of these appointments can help you get ready. There may be special steps to take when you arrive for your appointment. Call your child’s care provider before your visit. And remember to practice social distancing, wash your hands often and wear a mask. If you are a UnitedHealthcare Community Plan member, you may have access to our Healthy First Steps program, which can help you find a care provider, schedule well-child visits, connect with educational and community resources and more.
